As our academic year comes to a close, we had several news to celebrate!
Our graduating research assistant Kwan To Ryan Chan was honored with several awards at the School of Architecture: a studio award for his partnered project in Comprehensive Design Studio, and the ARCC King Student Medal Award for research in architecture. He is heading to Harvard Graduate School of Design in the fall for his M.Arch. degree. Congratulations, Ryan!
The awards ceremony was an opportunity for a rare photo opportunity with the Architecture faculty. We will miss our retiring colleague Peter Wiederspahn!
We also celebrate the end of a period of our largest group size yet. Special thanks to Jonathan Melchiorre and Tanvi Agarwal for their full-time commitments to SFL as a postdoc and co-op, respectively. Not pictured below is Lang Shao, who was studying for his final exam!
